Bridger Mountain Log
Homes, Inc.
Wins National Floorplan Design Contest
Bridger
Mountain Log Homes, Inc. proudly announces that they are a winner of Log Home
Living’s 7th Annual Floorplan Design Contest.
“(Sort of the Oscars for log homes.)” Have you ever wondered which
log home floorplan is the best?
“The Bridger” at 2,171 sq. ft. illustrates the flexibility of Bridger
Mountain Log Homes, Inc. design services.
This home features a generous master bedroom with an open bath, center
kitchen island, exquisite log stairway, large windows to exploit the mountain
views, cozy front porch, and rear deck for outside entertaining.
The cathedral ceiling in the dining/living room exposes an attractive
log truss and contributes to a sweeping, spacious feeling.
The loft provides a tranquil retreat and allows for a magnificent view
through gable-end trapezoid windows. Throughout
the country, experts who design log homes, (log companies, architects and
designers), were asked to send Log Home Living their best of the best
floorplan designs. Five designs
were chosen in two groups, less than 2,500 sq. ft. and 2,500 sq. ft. and up.
The judges of the contest included, Dave Argo of Kansas, Joseph Augitto,
Greg Steckler, and Jerry Locati of Bozeman, Montana. As Jerry Locati quotes, “This plan’s open design is
consistent with modern living. The
exterior reflects a more traditional approach with extensive covered porches
that allow outdoor living throughout the seasons.”
